Description From Owner:
- First called Hoyt Station after early land grantee William Hoyt. In 1963 the name was changed to Hoyt.
- Black Creek No. 2 (Hoyt Station) covered bridge, built in 1936, is off Route 101 on Hoyt Station Road. South Oromocto River No. 2 (Mill Settlement) covered bridge, built in 1912, is off Route 101 on North Mill Settlement Road at Mill Settlement.
- South Oromocto River No. 3 (Bell) covered bridge, built in 1931, is off Route 101 on Boyne Road at Juvenile Settlement.
