Description From Owner:

Historian William Ganong identified the Maliseet name for Keswick Ridge as Quesawolnek or 'end of the hill.'
In 1866 it was a farming community with 90 resident families including 8 Christie, 10 Jewett, 10 McQueen, 5 Sloot and 5 Yerxa families. By 1871 the population was 150.
