Description From Owner:
- From 1916 to 1934 the place was named Arsenault Siding. From 1934 to 1940 the name was St. Arthur and in 1940 the name changed to Lauvriére for Emile Lauvriére, a French writer of Acadian history.
- In 1948 the name was changed to Saint-Martin-de-Restigouche.
