Description From Owner:

William Cody, an immigrant from Ireland, settled here in 1819. The first postmaster in 1885 was a descendant, Charles F. Cody who gave the family name to the community.
A member of the same family and a native of Codys, Archdeacon H. A. Cody (1872-1948) was the author of a long series of novels that focus on life in rural NB.
