Very nice place with a lake view. Food was tasty. Ordered beef liver. Very rarely this item appears in menu. Butter chicken was also good, rich with flavor. There is a kids playground near the shore. Very convenient for people with kids. Recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage!
The room and bathroom were newly renovated and spotlessly clean. The kids had a blast at the playground and loved the outdoor pool, which was well-maintained and had shallow water perfect for both children and adults. We also appreciated the easy access to boat and canoe rentals.
The highlight of our trip was the stunning view—gorgeous sunsets followed by an amazing night sky filled with millions of stars, all while enjoying a cozy campfire. We can’t wait to come back!

Restaurant located right by Goderich beach. Great views all around, especially if you sit on the patio you have beautiful views of Lake Huron. Food was good and arrived quickly. Our server was great- we asked for a patio table and she didn't have one for us initially but came back in a few minutes to let us know she had a table outdoors. Food arrived quickly. The truffle fries were the best I've had . I ordered the vegetarian power bowl and it was great. I would have expected a little more food, that was my only complaint. The ambience was fabulous, will definitely return in the summer.
Vegetarian options: A lot of the items on the menu can be made with no meat and there were always vegetarian options so very veggie friendly place. Loved it!

My fiance had a boys (10 guests) weekend at Serenity Estate. He could not stop talking about it. The cottage has many amenities including pool tables, wet bar, many board games, air hockey, poker table and foosball table which is more than enough entertainment for these boys. The balcony is huge and has a stunning view of the lake. They spent a lot of time on the balcony in the morning having coffee and barbecuing in the evening. The fire pit is great and has many seats to fit a large group. Also the host, Kirk, provided an unbelievable amount of firewood. Also there is a fire place inside which they took advantage of in the evening. There is free wifi and Kirk provided everything for them in the kitchen including pots, pans, toaster, microwave, oven, cutlery, mugs, plates etc. There is even a small spice rack to season food. The cottage also has kayaks, and canoes for fishing. If he could describe the cottage in one word, it would be 'cozy'. The cottage has a lot of character with 'little bells and whistles' and it is well maintained. He cannot wait to re-book this place again. He highly recommends it!

Doo Doo's has a reputation that precedes it. They are perennially on lists for the 'best butter tarts in Ontario.' Since butter tarts were invented in Ontario, that means they are among the best in the world.
I am pleased to report that the butter tarts live up their reputation. They are outstandingly consistent and smooth. What elevates them above many of their competitors is a slight toasted/caramel flavour that's very addictive. It was immediately obvious how Doo Doo's has become something of a butter tart institution in the province.
